The Montana Coalition to Solve Homelessness is a group of shelters, service providers, faith leaders, and people with lived experience working to promote and pass statewide policies that can ensure dignity and shelter for all Montanans. In addition to working on policy, we want this coalition’s work to help build a support network among shelters, individuals, and providers, creating a community to problem-solve and share solutions to the unique challenges our members face.
How to get involved
Become a partner!
We provide coalition updates, calls to action, and event or funding opportunities to partner organizations. We’re more powerful when we work together, and community partners are the backbone of our advocacy efforts. There’s no fee to become a coalition partner.
Connect with the people organizing and providing service in your community!
While our coalition focuses largely on statewide policy change, effecting durable change means engaging and organizing on every level and engaging in the work being done in your community.
Don’t know where to start?

Have you experienced homelessness and want to get involved?
Get paid for your time! We’ve set aside funding to compensate folks with lived experience for their time with the coalition.
